Though their children have spread their wings and begun families of their own, the farmhouse remains abuzz with life, as their beloved daughter and her family have taken up residence within its walls. However, as time has woven its tapestry through the halls of this historic abode, whispers of modernity beckon for its attention. This is a two story, five bedroom, three bathroom home.

With a penchant for vintage and antique treasures, the homeowner dreams of a space that honors the timeless elegance of bygone eras. Enter stage one of our design journey, where the heart of the farmhouse—the main living areas—takes center stage. Our mission? To infuse these sacred spaces with functionality and grace, mirroring the love and harmony that permeates every corner of this cherished home.​

BOUGIE ROUGEY

This captivating kitchen space embodies an eclectic interpretation of organic modern design. Echoes of the earth’s warmth resonate through the natural stones and wood grains, while a delicate balance is achieved with the ethereal frostiness of the counter tops and whimsical pendant lamp. Within this functional layout lie pockets of coziness and intimacy, inviting moments of respite amidst the daily hustle. A dedicated coffee nook nestled within the appliance wall offers solace for quiet mornings, setting the tone for a productive day ahead. The inviting island serves as a focal point for intimate conversations, complemented by the convenience of a wine fridge discreetly tucked beneath a waterfall counter top. Against a backdrop of moody red stone, the oven/range sparks culinary inspiration, encouraging culinary experimentation and exploration of new flavors. Yet, this kitchen transcends mere functionality; it beckons as a sanctuary to both begin and end each day, a space where weekends and late evenings are cherished in the company of cherished friends and loved ones.
