GLASBAUM RESIDENCE

The Glasbaum Residence was designed for a cliffside location in New York State, offering stunning views through the large glass windows. By using design principles employed by Frank Lloyd Wright, such as compression and release, each section of this home has a unique atmosphere and purpose. The entry invites people in to explore, with a view of the central courtyard. Guests are guided into the main living space, with tall ceiling heights fit for entertaining. The guest bedrooms are located nearby, accessed through a separate hallway. The main bedroom is found at the back of the house, allowing for a bit of privacy, with low ceilings to add feelings of comfort and safety. An office is conveniently situated next to it, with stairs leading right back down to the main entrance.

GLASBAUM COLLECTION

The Glasbaum Collection, inspired by the breathtaking features of the Glasbaum Residence and influenced by Frank Lloyd Wright’s design principles, aims to capture elegance through long lines and curving edges. Featuring four distinct pieces—a sofa, pendant, bedframe, and nightstand—the collection is meticulously crafted for the main bedroom of the Glasbaum Residence. ​

YURI FLOATING HOMES

The Yuri Floating Homes are designed with a focus on providing a solution to the inevitability of rising waters around the world. Using MAST flat-packed modules made from recycled reinforced plastic, these platforms provide a secure floating foundation for homes and other structures. Inspired by the calmness of Japanese architecture, each home sits on a floating “lilypad.” Lilypads are known to expand rapidly within communities, making them an ideal concept for housing individuals displaced from their previous communities. These envisioned floating homes are interconnected via pathways and prefabricated with timber, steel, reinforced glass, and modular components. These homes prioritize affordability and comfort by featuring two straightforward floorplans around 400 and 600 square feet. ​

CAROLINE'S CORNER

Caroline’s Corner is a cafe that has been moved into an old home in Logan, Utah. To get the look needed, the exterior was remodeled after the Craftsman style architecture of the 1860s. The stairs were relocated from the center of the building to the far edge, allowing for more room in the central cafe area. Windows were added  when needed, adjusting each style. A walk-up window for people to order from the exterior was added to create easy access for those sitting on the porch.

ZORZA DONATION CENTER

Zorza, a Polish term synonymous with “aurora,” aptly captures the essence of a plasma donation center influenced by the ethereal beauty of the Northern Lights. Across various cultures, the Northern Lights are believed to possess healing attributes, attributed to their mystical hues. The most efficient facility was created by leveraging insights and wants provided by a phlebotomist actively engaged in a plasma donation center. Embracing unconventional forms and materials in traditional plasma donation centers, Zorza emerged as a beacon of innovation and care.
